Dr. Adam Sperduto

SurgicalDermatologyGroup-0019Dr. Sperduto graduated from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, where he received a degree in Spanish Literature and Chemistry.  He received his Doctor of Medicine from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.  He then completed his internship at Grady Memorial Hospital and Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, and his residency in dermatology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.

Dr. Sperduto’s clinical interests include Mohs Micrographic Surgery and reconstructive surgery for the treatment of all types of skin cancer.  He has published multiple manuscripts in national peer-reviewed dermatology journals.  He has received advanced training in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology and is experienced in non-surgical cosmetic soft-tissue augmentation utilizing botulinum toxin and soft-tissue fillers.  During his residency, Dr. Sperduto received multiple teaching awards and was twice nominated for the university’s highest teaching honor, the Golden Apple Teaching Award.

Dr. Sperduto completed a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology Fellow with Surgical Dermatology Group, where he received advanced training in the management of skin cancer with the Mohs Micrographic Surgery Technique.

Dr. Sperduto is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Medical Association.

When away from the office, Dr. Sperduto enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as fishing and hunting.

Dr. Sperduto is now accepting patients in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
