Dr. Stanislav Tolkachjov

SurgicalDermatologyGroup-0013Dr. Tolkachjov graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. He received his medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee, where he also completed his transitional year internship at Methodist University Hospital. He then went on to complete his Dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has received advanced training in general, surgical, laser, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Tolkachjov graduated at the top of his medical school class and is a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He has written numerous scientific papers and book chapters, with various speaking engagements within the United States and internationally. His areas of interest include skin cancers and rare adnexal malignancies, Mohs surgery, pyoderma gangrenosum, and neutrophilic dermatoses. He is currently co-authoring a textbook on Mohs surgery and complex reconstructive techniques. He is a member and holds committee positions in the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery.

Dr. Tolkachjov completed a Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology fellowship with Surgical Dermatology Group. During this time, he received advanced training in the management of skin cancer with the Mohs micrographic surgery technique.
When he is away from the office, Dr. Tolkachjov enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and dog, as well as trivia, sports, and travel.

Dr. Tolkachjov is currently accepting new patients in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
