Incredible healthcare starts with rigorous training and education. All of our doctors are board certified dermatologists. Surgeons at SDG are also fellowship trained to perform Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS), a highly specialised surgical technique performed to treat complex skin cancers. SDG offers a coveted Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship. Training the next generation of dermatologic surgeons is an honor.

Dr. Harmon has been performing Mohs surgery and practicing Aesthetic Dermatology in Alabama since 1997. After graduating from Mississippi College in 1986, he attended Tulane University School of Medicine. He performed a transitional internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans in 1990. He then began his dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. Following his residency, he served as a board certifie dermatologist in the United States Air Force at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi, from 1994 to 1997.
Mandy has published articles in the fields of acne scarring, skin cancer and Mohs micrographic surgery technique. She is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatologic Physician Assistants, the Alabama Society of Dermatology Professionals and the Alabama Society of Physician Assistants.
Mandy has over 15 years of medical and surgical dermatologic experience and knowledge. She serves our patients at Surgical Dermatology Group by providing routine medical and surgical dermatologic care. In addition to her clinical duties, Mandy serves in an administrative role, as Vice President of Clinical Services, overseeing all clinical and lab operations.
Mandy is active in medical missions and has spent time in Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Kenya, and Romania. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Hannah received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from the Medical College of Georgia. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Alabama Society of Dermatology Professionals.
Hannah serves our patients at Surgical Dermatology Group by providing routine general dermatology care and surgical follow up as well as many common dermatologic procedures.
Hannah and her husband Steve live in Homewood with their children Kate, Bo and Grady.
Stacy is married with twin children, Sam and Kellie. Her husband, Jim, is a Professor of Civil Engineering at Auburn University. She currently resides with her family in Auburn, AL. Her interests include horseback riding, travel and spending time with her family and pets.
Katie joined Surgical Dermatology Group in 2014 as a medical assistant prior to moving to St. Louis for her husband’s medical training. During that time, she attended Saint Louis University’s Physician Assistant Program where she graduated with a Master’s of Medical Science degree. During her training she was inducted into the Alpha Eta National Honor Society for Health Professions. Katie is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and maintains memberships in the Society of Dermatologic Physician Assistants and in the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
In her free time Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and her son, Jae. Her hobbies include running, fishing, cooking, and traveling.
She is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatologic Physician Assistants. Erica serves our patients at Surgical Dermatology Group by providing routine general dermatology care, surgical follow-ups, and many common dermatologic procedures.
She resides in Birmingham with her husband, Eric, and their miniature dachshund, Cali. They enjoy spending time outdoors, visiting friends and family, and exploring all Birmingham has to offer.
Bradley serves our patients at Surgical Dermatology Group by providing routine general dermatology care and surgical follow up as well as many common dermatologic procedures.
Bradley and his wife Natalie live in Springville with their children Elijah, Adeline, and Britton.
Jena earned a B.S. in Health Promotion and Business from Auburn University in 2000 and a B.S. in Nursing from the University of North Florida in 2004.
Jena has worked as a Medical Assistant for Atlanta Plastic Surgery, a Cosmetic/Aesthetic RN for The Vein and Laser Center in Jacksonville, Florida, and a Cosmetic/Aesthetic RN for The Greenville Vein Clinic and Aesthetic Center in Greenville, South Carolina.
With over 15 years of experience, she has received extensive training, education, and knowledge specializing in lasers, veins, skin care, and other cosmetic procedures
Jena joined Surgical Dermatology Group in 2011 as our laser RN coordinator and serves our patients with their aesthetic needs. She is committed to providing top quality patient care. She is board-certified and is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Jena is married with twins and currently resides in Hoover.
